1991 Classic 24 Loon Hull #26 “Island Princess”

Island Princess is a rare find indeed. She is an all original, one owner, Classic 24 day cruiser commonly referred to as a Loon. Build in 1991, she has spent her entire life on the fresh waters of Lake Muskoka in Ontario’s cottage country.  This Classic 24 has been extremely well taken care of and always stored in a boat house. Her cosmetics are virtually flawless both inside and out and she literally looks less than 5 years old. In this case the photos do not exaggerate the fact that she is in truly “Bristol” condition. Dimensions LOA: 24′ – 0″ / […]

1988 Gozzard 36 Hull #38 “Gypsy Moon”

Gypsy Moon spent the first 20 years of her career in the fresh waters of the Lake Michigan before being moved to Texas.  She sports recent Awlgrip paint which makes this Gozzard 36A look extremely nice. Featuring lots of upgrades and a recent survey, if you are considering a Gozzard 36, this one deserves a hard look.  The sellers are motivated and willing to negotiate with a serious buyer. Gypsy Moon is a 1988 Gozzard 36, a highly-regarded design of H. Ted Gozzard. She features distinctively classic lines with a traditional clipper bow and a bow sprit for an overall length of […]

SOLD Winter 2018! 1999 Gozzard 37 Hull #3 “Gaviidae”

Gaviidae has been sailed exclusively in fresh water and her systems and rigging are free of the typical salt air and water stresses. She has been the summer home for an adventurous Minnesota couple who recently purchased a Gozzard 41. Gaviidae and her crew explored most of the shoreline of Lake Superior and Lake Huron. Prior owners kept her on Lake Michigan. With the shorter sailing season associated with northern waters, she spent her winters bundled in her winter cover waiting for the spring thaw. This solidly built and beautifully crafted sailing vessel was designed for offshore cruising but is equally […]

Lynne Marie

SOLD Summer 2017! 1998 – Gozzard 44 Mk1 A Interior, Hull #16 “Lynn Marie”

This Gozzard 44 has been sailed only in fresh water and has had the benefit of only two very dedicated owners since new. Coupled with the fact that her northern climate sailing season is less than six months long and that she spends the remaining six months in heated indoor storage protected from damaging UV and the elements, it is easy to suggest this boat has lead a very sheltered life! Sporting a brilliant Flag Blue Awlgrip hull, factory hard tops, new sails and canvas, she has a strikingly Bristol appearance. Most boats in her class brag about extensive refits, […]

2002 Gozzard 41A Hull #3 “Black Rose”

Black Rose is an exceptionally well equipped, one owner Gozzard 41 “A”. While she has been cruised mostly on the Great Lakes for the majority of her career as a Canadian flagged vessel, she did take her dedicated owners south on two separate occasions in 2006 and again in 2011. Each time the boat was fully prepped and updated for the trip by the factory and indeed nearly all the work and maintenance done on this boat since new has been by factory personnel. In 2015/16 she was prepped once again to head south but this time personal issues cut the […]

SOLD Summer 2017 1997 Gozzard 31 Hull #15 “Grace”

Grace is a lightly used example of one of the last G31 Mark 1’s built. The Mark 1 production run ended in 1998. This two owner boat has spend the vast majority of her life plying the brackish waters of the upper Chesapeake Bay and the inland rivers of New Jersey. She is in very much original and unmolested condition. With only 600 hours on the clock she is more than ready for the next adventure. Used as a show piece for an upscale Inn, she has been primarily used for day sailing most recently. This G31 also represents the […]

Compression Post Upgrade Kit – Gozzard 36A (pre 1990)

Compression Post Kit… Installation Guide Lines As our fleet ages we are finally seeing some issues with the construction of the earlier boats… the good news is we are still here to help and we recognize the value of helping our owners to correct these and any other problems that may crop up in the future. It is good for all of us as it maintains the vessels value and in the process our reputation. At some point in our production run of the G36 (and maybe some of you can help us with this because our records do not […]
