SOLD Gozzard 41RC 2017 Factory Demonstrator

    Brand new for 2017, the Gozzard 41RC is finally a reality. Years in the planning and building, it represents our most current thinking in terms design, concept and construction.

    This all new boat features industry leading developments in our already renowned structure which is highlighted by our composite chain plate technology. The hull and deck are vacuum infused using Vinyl-ester resin and Corecell A500 core is used throughout. The advanced structure used in our chain plates includes web ties and a combination of E glass, carbon fiber and epoxy resin using wet bag and vacuum infusion processes that result in a structure not found on any boat in this size and price range.

    Our new Solent Cutter Rig for 2017 utilizes triple head stays, swept back spreaders and features a furler mounted Code Zero drifter/reacher for those light air days. The electric Selden furled Solent headsail is designed to optimize upwind performance and sheets inboard to a cockpit adjustable lead for improve pointing ability while the self tacking cutter staysail is perfect for the heavy air wind ranges.

    Our latest two person live aboard interior feature the new larger aft cabin with a master stateroom berth that is much larger than ever before. Enabled by the RC “Raised Cockpit” design we have created a slightly offset center line berth with full sitting headroom and with much easier access. The interior is more open, bigger and more comfortable than ever. The raised coach roof creates a vaulted ceiling amidships which affords tremendous visibility while below.

    Our extensive equipment list includes:

    • Full headroom shower and head with Vacu-flush toilet with 44 gallon FRP waste tank with OB discharge and macerator pump.
    • 3 FRP VE fuel tanks with 128 gallons capacity, twin Racor filters with vac gauge
    • 3 FRP VE water tanks with 165 gallons capacity, Sea gull drinking water filtration
    • 1000 amp hour house bank with dedicated engine and thruster batteries complete with Magnum shore charger/inverter, smart battery combiners and full manual and automatic controll
    • Beta 60 diesel with Aquadrive and high output alternator with serpentine belts
    • Raymarine electronic package including AIS, 2 station VHF, two station e series MFD, Evo Pilot with Octopus drive and a complete STNG bus
    • Full digital fluid level management system and engine data
    • Evolution sails including a furling Code 0, electric furling Solent, furling staysail, furling in mast mainsail with vertical battens.
    • Electric control winch, electric windlass
    • Hard bimini and navy top with removable mid section and full screen cockpit enclosure
    • New high style davits with aft cockpit seats and mainsheet arch
    • Bow and stern thrusters
    • 2 zone reverse cycle air conditioners
    • Hull and deck fully finished in Awlgrip, all bright work finished in Awlwood.
    • Custom composite (carbon fiber) ships wheel with custom Edson rack and pinion steering
    • SS front load twin drawer refrigerator with a top load freezer compartment with separate cooling unit, both digitally controlled.
    • LPG Dickerson style space heater

    This boat is special even for a Gozzard. Historically, every time we have build a new model… a demonstrator, they all get some pretty special treatment and features not available on the more production oriented sisters that follow and this one is no different.
